Descripción
The project involves creating a software platform to serve as a broker to Real Estate firm, displaying their properties. The key is to take advantage the embedded GPS on modern phones. Real Estate being naturally a mobile activity fits perfect for mobile software. First target operating system would be Iphone. The application could be complemented with a web application. Meandering through a neighbourhood with a pad and pencil in hand and looking for “for sale” signs can be a nice way to spend an afternoon. Or you can pocket those archaic tools and do some serious high-tech research a mobile application. After all, a piece of paper can’t show you the pricing history or pictures of a house, and it definitely won’t give you driving directions.
Fuerzas Competitivas
Competitors: There is no such solution offered in Argentina. Only Web Sites maintained by Real Estate firms, and a few big Broker Web Sites. Suppliers: Development would be done in Argentina. Customers:Our customers would be real estate firms paying to place their ads. Substitute Products: Web Sites, Newspapers, For Sale Signs. Our product would engage with the actual real estate marketing techniques instead of compete with them. There has been an acceptance research with very high User Acceptance rate.
Inversión Requerida
The investment mostly would go on Sofware Development. Then maintaing the app would have minimum costs. Being a technology investement it requires a lot more capital on the developlent Stage than the subsequent phases. There is going to be some marketing funds needed. . Capitalization ends and amortization begins when the product is available for general release to customers. Investment would vary depending the amount of platforms targeted. (eg. Iphone OS, Symbian, Android etc.) It would be good to have a web site to support the application, taking advantage of the Google Maps API.
